We are happy to announce the completion of a company-wide First Aid and CPR training program here at Brookstone Builders.
The course was delivered by Manchester Safety Specialists and included training for dealing with a conscious choking victim (Heimlich maneuver), an unconscious choking victim, rescue breathing, and CPR. It also provided detailed instructions on how to care for bleeding, shock, burns, poisoning, heat and cold emergencies, bites and stings, bone or joint injuries, muscle
injuries, head/spinal injuries, and how to promote overall workplace safety.
The Instructor was American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and National Safety Council certified, and the program was attended by all Brookstone employees.
“These types of programs are standard components of Brookstone Builders’ safety policy,” said Paula Scales, company President. “While we are extremely proud of our safety rating and track record, our objective is to promote job-site safety and to ensure that all team members are certified and qualified to effectively prevent injuries or respond to any injury or safety-related incident.”
