With a reputation for consistently providing straightforward, professional services in virtually every sector, we've served the commercial, municipal, healthcare, industrial and institutional markets. In addition to a dedicated workforce, our relationships with dependable sub-contractors has enabled us to maintain operational flexibility. All of these professionals are are well-suited to the specialty demands and intricacies of renovation and restoration projects, which often involve working in and around client-occupied space.

Over the years we have consistently allocated a great deal of time and resources to developing effective managerial, educational and technology systems, resulting in high-levels of accountability, operational efficiency, clear communication and job-site safety. Our Story
Karen Scales
President
Ms. Scales has over twenty years of managerial experience, three of which were spent at Brookstone Builders as Office Manager. Prior to joining the firm she worked at two large disaster restoration/construction companies performing office and accounting functions. She has also held the position of Food Service Director for a health care facility, and spent several years as a Test Kitchen Manager at Reader's Digest in Wisconsin prior to relocating to New Hampshire. She holds a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University.
Sean Scales
Vice President
Mr. Scales first learned the construction trade at Brookstone Builders during his high school and college years, working his way through the ranks from carpenter to assistant site supervisor. After twenty years as a commercial airline pilot, he rejoined the family business in 2020 working in a management role. As Vice President he is committed to continuing the high standards of quality and safety that the company has adhered to over the past thirty-eight years.
