Brookstone Builders Completes NH Statehouse Renovation

project completion

All of us here at Brookstone Builders are happy to announce that we have completed a renovation project for the State of New Hampshire.

The project involved a heavy HVAC upgrade at the Statehouse on North Main Street in Concord, New Hampshire.

The scope of work included the installation of a new HVAC system, installation of variant refrigerant volume (VRV) systems, mechanical and electrical upgrades, construction of chase walls, extensive millwork, and the preservation of existing architectural trims.

Stephen Nichols was our Project Manager and the project’s architect was Oak Point Associates of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Biddeford, Maine. In addition, McFarland-Johnson, Inc. of Binghamton, New York and Concord, NH served as the
project’s Mechanical & Electrical contractor.

“We appreciate our long-standing relationship with the State of New Hampshire,” said Paula Scales, Brookstone Builder’s President. “Our crews are especially well-suited to this type of renovation as well as with the heightened safety protocols and scheduling flexibility that are associated with working in and around occupied space.”

A woman-owned enterprise, Brookstone Builders, Inc. was founded in 1984. The company provides commercial, industrial, and design-build solutions throughout northern New England, and has also been involved in a wide range of specialty and renovation projects.
