Brookstone Builders Receives Award for U.S. Navy Project

project award

All of us here at Brookstone Builders are happy to announce that we have received a renovation project award from the U.S. Navy.

The project will involve an architectural renovation of approximately 18,000 square feet of office space on the fifth floor in building 86A at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The scope of work will include the removal, replacement, and leveling of floors, the relocation of doorways, and general office renovation.  The area will remain operational during renovations, which will be conducted in phases to accommodate scheduling and to maintain the heightened safety protocols associated with working in and around occupied space.

Armitage SAI Joint Ventures will be the project’s Prime Contractor, Brookstone Builders, Inc. will serve as the Architectural General Contractor, and the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) will also be involved in the design phase of this design/build project.

Stephen Nichols will serve as Brookstone Builders’ Project Manager.

“We appreciate our ongoing relationship with the Navy,” said Brookstone Builder’s President Karen Scales. “It has been a great partnership involving numerous projects over many years, which have all been completed more effectively thanks to the Navy’s streamlined processes and straightforward communication protocols.”
